Go to My People → Invite and send them the link over WhatsApp, Messages, anywhere. When they open it, you're connected both ways — either of you can assign the other a task.
If they'd rather type a code, they can install the app and enter it under My People → Join.
Codes are single-use on purpose, so a link forwarded into a group chat can't connect everyone who sees it. Once someone uses your code, the app quietly issues a new one — just open Invite again and share the fresh link. Codes also expire after 14 days.
Only to share. TaskDone works completely on its own without signing in — the account exists so two phones can agree on who is connected to whom.
Nothing happens. There are no streaks in TaskDone, so there's nothing to lose and nothing to rebuild. Swipe back to any past day and tick things off then — the app records the day it counts for, not the day you tapped.
Swipe left on it and tap delete. You'll be asked whether to remove just that day or the whole series.
A nudge to someone about a specific task you gave them — it tells them which task, so it's something they can act on. It's limited to one per task per hour.
In the app: More → Account → Delete account. That permanently removes your profile, tasks, completions, connections and invites from the server. Or email us and we'll do it for you.
Yes. No subscription, no ads, no locked features. The tip jar in the Support tab is optional and changes nothing in the app.
